O apagão do PT e o Rodoanel...

Engraçado, um apagão e a mídia é unânime q a culpa é do PT, o Rodoanel cai e... a culpa ñ é do Serra?

Antes de mais nada, mantenhamos as proporções.

O apagão, como o PIG vem chamando, o blecaute, foi, segundo engenheiros paraguaios, causados ou começaram em São Paulo, da empresa energética privatizada, de origem colombiana - o Brasil é uma piada tão grande que até nossas empresas são vendidas para países de terceiro mundo, não sabemos gerir nada, não é? - e, convenhamos, foi um fato isolado, muito diferente do apagão de FHC e consequente racionamento.

Chegamos à loucura de, por falta de estrutura e  investimentos, pagar multas por usar um limite imposto pelo governo de energia. Não vemos isto hoje, nem de longe.

Indo para o Rodoanel, o que vemos é uma obra mal feita, financiada com o dinheiro da privatização de outro trecho da rodovia e este, obviamente, será privatizado logo após o governo terminar de investir. E, por governo, falo em nós, o contribuinte, que paga bilhões por obras que serão depois entregues à iniciativa privada sem qualquer consulta ou honestidade.

Depois dos episódios absurdos envolvendo empreiteiras e construtoras brasileiras como Queiroz Galvão e Camargo Gutiérrez no Equador e na Bolívia, não surpreende que a OAS e as outras empresas participantes da obra, todas gigantescas e de alcance mundial, tenham feito o mesmo serviço de porco aqui em nosso país.

E, obviamente, com a conivência do Vampiro Anêmico que nunca se preocupou com qualidade, decência ou a segurança dos paulistas e paulistanos, vide a cratera do metrô que jamais foi ou será totalmente explicada.

Observem atentamente as notícias sobre o Rouboanel e sobre o "Apagão" e vejam como se posiciona a mídia, ou melhor, do lado de quem.

Com o apagão a CBN acusava Lula e os pobres de baixarem o IPI e comprarem geladeiras demais para que o sistema energ´petico aguentasse. Chegaram a acusar o MST e os índios.... E os absurdos não pararam.

Com a queda do Rodoanel, assim como com a cratera do metrô, o que se vê é o investimento desviado, a corrupção, a péssima qualidade de materiais e o descaso com o bem público e com o povo... Mas nenhuma palavra do PIG sobre as reais causas, só a comoção, a emoção fingida e os protestos de boa sorte para Serra em suas investigações que nunca dão em nada.

A campanha já começou a muito tempo e o PIG nunca teve dúvidas de que lado escolher.

Serra é intocável. Esta é sua democracia, a mesma que copia Maluf e desrespeita a tradição e a decência na escolha do reitor da USP em lista tríplice. Vale a leitura da excelente análise d'O Descurvo sobre o assunto.

Bil'in Weekly Protest - This is Zionism

Marking the fifth anniversary of Abu Ammar (Yasser Arafat) martyrdom and solidarity with Mohammed Baraka

One injured and dozens suffered tear gas inhalation at the weekly demonstration in Bil’in

Directly after the Friday prayers, Bil’in citizens gathered in a large demonstration, in response to a call from the Poplar Committee Against the Wall. They were joined by international and Israeli activists, as well as a group of members and supporters of the Democratic Front for Peace and Equality (Hadash) and a delegation of members of the Palestinian People's Party. The protest was led by Mohammed Baraka - the front's general secretary and member of the Israeli Knesset. One international activist was injured and dozens suffered tear gas inhalation at the weekly demonstration in Bil’in.

The demonstrators have raised dozens of Palestinian flags and pictures of the late martyr Abu Ammar, along with banners marking the fifth year of his martyrdom, emphasizing their loyalty to his soul. Other banners expressed solidarity with Mohammed Baraka, who will stand on trial in front of an Israeli court next week as a result of his participation in one of the Bil’in weekly demonstration in 2005. Mr. Baraka expressed his commitment to participating in the popular demonstrations against the Wall, settlements and occupation, and his determination to participate regardless of the decision of the court. In his words, even if the judge ruled to imprison him for his activities connected to defending the Palestinian land and nation, it would be an honor to serve his sentence.

Demonstrators wore t-shirts with a slogan commemorating the twentieth anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall - “From Berlin to Bil’in, The Wall Shall Fall” - to emphasize the destruction of the Wall in Bil’in and the whole Palestine was inevitable, similarly to what happened in Berlin 20 years ago. They also chanted slogans against the Wall, showing their determination to continue in their resistance, which has started almost five years ago, until the wall built on their land falls.


After initial speeches by members of the Popular Committee, members of Knesset and activists from Israel and countries from around the whole world, the demonstrators marched towards the Wall. Straight after they reached the Wall, the army declared the area a closed military zone, and, within seconds after the announcement, started shooting tear gas. At the beginning the army was throwing individual tear gas canisters at the crowd, however, after some demonstrators attempted to hang banners and Palestinian flags on the barrier, they started using a machine that shoots around 30 tear gas bombs at a time. Dozens suffered severe tear gas inhalation, including Mohammed Baraka, and one international activist, Kyle (32) from the United States was injured after he was trying to escape from the tear gas. His injury, bleeding from his head, required hospital treatment and a number of stitches.

Orson Welles e o País Basco

Em 1955, Orson Welles realizou para a BBC uma série de seis documentários intitulada Around the World with Orson Welles. Dois desses documentários incidem sobre o País Basco - Pays Basque I: The Basque Countries e Pays Basque II - La Pelote basque -, centrando-se na pequena aldeia de Ziburu, em Ipar Euskal Herria [País Basco Norte].

O que se vê a seguir são duas pequenas partes dos dois documentários. Ao fim, o vídeo completo de um dos dois documentários que, infelizmente, não consegui baixar, só usuários premium do serviço podem fazê-lo. Mr. Obama, tear down this wall - Apartheid Wall Protests

A group of Palestinians from the popular committees and Fatah movement tore down a part of the Apartheid Wall separating occupied East Jerusaelm from the rest of the West Bank.

On Monday 9 November a hundred Palestinians waving Palestinain flags and wearing florecent jackets saying "WE ARE GOING TO JERUSALEM" took down a peice of the concrete wall near the Kalandia airport.

The fallowing leaflet was distributed by a group of Palestinians who tore down the Wall near Jerusalem:

On 9 November 1989 the world witnessed the moment of the demolition of the Berlin Wall. Similarly, at this moment, twenty years later, a group of Palestinians have demolished part of the Apartheid Wall around Jerusalem. Jerusalem, that bleeds every day... Jerusalem who's children are homeless under the rain. These young boys and girls who were promised by the martyr president Yaser Arafat that they would raise the Palestinian flag on the churches and mosques of Jerusalem. Mosques and churches who's sanctity is defiled while we passively wait for salvation unaware that the responsibility lies with each and every one of us.



Rebuilding popular resistance is essential for Jerusalem and Palestine.

In this event we are calling for a return to the achievements of the popular uprising that began on 9 December 1987. This year, on 9 December, we are calling on people to move en masse towards Jerusalem.

We are calling for the formation of a unified national leadership to lead a mass popular uprising of which all the Palestinian people, groups and political factions are a part of. This popular uprising will be pro-active and innovative with a strategy to mobilize international support for the justice of our cause, as a way out of the current political impasse. We will use this support to create international pressure to end the occupation, and establish an independent Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital, and to restore unity amongst our people, from the West Bank to Gaza.



For the release of our innocent martyrs, the freedom of our political prisoners, and a return to our unity.

O "Apagão" visto pelo PIG

Não surpreende que o nome usado pelo PIG, para descrever o Blecaute de ontem tenha sido... Apagão.

Exatamente o nome usado para descrever os efeitos da falta de investimento e descaso com a produção e transmissão de energia durante do governo (sic) FHC. Obviamente o PIG se absteve de comparar, não fica bem colar o Tucanato à um episódio tão absurdo. Melhor é capitalizar em cima deste novo apagão e tentar derrubar o governo.

Eduardo Guimarães lança uma idéia interessante, quase uma teoria da conspiração:

Aí entra em cena informação divulgada pelo jornal paraguaio ‘ABC Color’ de que a primeira peça que caiu no dominó elétrico seria... de São Paulo.

Claro que tudo pode não passar de teoria conspiratória minha, mas é bom ficarmos atentos. Já imaginaram que maravilha seria, para certos grupos políticos, se outros episódios como esse continuassem acorrendo? Haveria como dizer, no ano que vem, que Lula também produziu um apagão como o do ex-presidente Fernando Henrique Cardoso. 

Faz sentido? Todo.

O DemoTucanato e sua tropa de choque "PIGiana" estão desesperados, sem saber como atacar o governo - que apesar de suas falhas e desvios é o melhor governo da história recente do país - e são capazes de tudo, de tomar qualquer decisão/atitude para criar um factóide e abrir a possibilidade de se colocar em dúvida a capacidade de Dilma governar futuramente ou de que Lula não é tão capaz quanto todos - realmente, todos - acreditam de fazer o país andar.

Talvez não tenha sido planejado, talvez o PIG não tenha ensaiado um levante e suas matérias não tivessem já sido pré-fabricadas - como parece em muitos casos -, mas a suspeita permanece. Não é difícil de acreditar que o DemoTucanato seria capaz. Um atentado contra o povo brasileiro a mais ou a menos não faria muita diferença para a ficha corrida desse povo.

Depois de ficha policial falsa da Dilma, dos louvores à DitaDURA (vide caso da Ditabranda exaustivamente analisada pela blogosfera) e de tantas outras manobras absurdas, mentiras e crimes cometidos pelo PIG à serviço do DemoTucanato, nada demais seria criar um apagão. Os Tucanos, aliás, tem experiência nmo assunto, afinal, quase deixaram o país totalmente às escuras durante o governo (sic) FHC, cabe sempre repetir e relembrar.

Mas, enfim, sendo ou não trabalho DemoTucano, o que fica é a certeza do uso político do episódio pelos vendilhões da pátria. Para esta corja a idéia de nação, de povo brasileiro, de se unir nas adversidades e buscar soluções para não prejudicar o povo simplesmente não existem. A idéia, sempre, é capitalizar (em todos os sentidos) e chegar ao poder para dele poder usufruir as benesses e engordar as contas suíças.

A oposição se mobiliza para fazer a ministra dar explicações sobre o apagão tanto na Câmara quanto no Senado. Os oposicionistas vão se esforçar para desfazer os desgastes -- carregados pelos candidatos tucanos nas duas últimas eleições -- pelo apagão que ocorreu no governo Fernando Henrique Cardoso (PSDB) que deixou parte do país às escuras em 2001.
Os oposicionistas prometem unir forças para mostrar que o governo Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva não teve o êxito propagado no que diz respeito à administração do sistema elétrico nacional.

A diferença básica, que os "oposicionistas" (apenas uma forma elegante de dizer "golpistas e oportunistas") não repararam, é que o que ocorreu ontem foi uma falha que poderia ter acontecido a qualquer momento. De fato não se trata de rede de distribuição precária ou culpa direta do governo. Já no caso do Apagão do FHC - calma, falo só da energia, e não da completa falta de idéias, projetos e investimento, afinal, o governo FHC foi, em si, um apagão - estávamos diante de um governo ineficaz, ineficiente que não se preocupou em investir no setor e nos deixou no escuro.

Enfim, precisamos nos esforçar para neutralizar o PIG e a Oposição Golpista e não deixar que capitalizem em cima de uma falha, de um blecaute. A comparação com a piada que foi o governo FHC é necessária e só nos favorece.

Protesto contra a UniTaleban

Protesto realizado em frente a Universidade Bandeirante de São Paulo em São Bernardo do Campo por entidades de classe, repudiando a expulsão da estudante Geisy Arruda após o episódio de hostilidade promovido por centenas de estudantes em decorrência da roupa utilizada pela aluna.

Estavam presentes organizações Feministas, a Marcha Mundial das Mulheres, a UNE, ANEL, partidos políticos e organizações classistas, além de jovens, idosos e estudantes, todos demonstrando seu repúdio contra a Universidade (sic) fascista, intolerante e machista.

Pior de tudo são os "estudantes" defendendo a UniBan, uma das 10 piores universidades do país, se dizendo preocupados com seus diplomas e seus futuros... Como se um diploma da UniBan valesse de alguma coisa e houvesse futuro em meio à tanta intolerância.

Se estes imbecis representam o futuro do país, continuaremos por mais 500 anos esperando chegar o futuro prometido, que nunca vem.

Doloroso ver mulheres defendendo a instituição, defendendo o ataque contra outra mulher, as ameaças de estupro, a violência de gênero.

From Berlin to Palestine
no matter where, no matter how tall, all walls fall

The 20th anniversary to the fall of the Berlin Wall will be marked this Friday in mass demonstrations across the West Bank calling for an immediate dismantling of Israel's wall and settlements

Exactly twenty years ago, On 9 November 1989, the Berlin Wall came crumbling down in two days that inspired hope for a world in which walls could no longer keep people apart. Today, a wall twice as high and five times as long is being built by
Israel in the West Bank, in blunt contempt of international law, to separate Palestinians from their lands.



Despite the International Court of Justice's advisory opinion from 2004, which had pronounced Israel's wall illegal, and called for its removal, no significant changes on the ground were made.

The demonstrators raised a model of the Wall at the Wall itself, which stated that, as the Berlin Wall fell twenty years ago, the Bil’in Wall must fall today.

The anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall has been declared an international day of action against Israel's barrier. Today the protesters called for its removal, and attempt to implement the ICJ's decision.

Several demonstrators suffered from tear gas inhalation from canisters thrown at them by the Israeli occupation soldiers in their attempt to suppress the weekly protest of Bil’in citizens and solidarity groups.

The demonstration was called by the Popular Committee Against the Wall and started directly after the Friday prayers. Bil’in citizens were joined by a group of international and Israeli peace activists and together they raised Palestinian flags and banners condemning the occupation, racist policy of building the Wall and settlements, land confiscation, road closures and detention and killing of innocent people.

The Brecht-Eislerchoir of Brussels Belgium sung several songs of solidarity and resistance to support the struggle in Bilin. The choir has presented in Belgium a choral piece ,The Shouting Fence, on the Palestinian situation with text by Mahmoud Darwich. After the concerts we wanted to see with our own eyes what the effects are in the daily life of Palestininans. Our attendance in the demonstration in Bilin strengthens our commitment to the Palestinian struggle for freedom In this way we try to raise awareness in Belgium about the occupation and the apartheidwall. In addition to that we have anther group from Ireland from IPSC .



Two days before, a large group of European diplomats made a visit to Bil’in, and went to the Wall to see how it has stolen the villagers land. They then held a meeting with the Popular Committee where they heard about the affects of the IOF’s night raids into the village. Diplomats visited from Romania, France, Slovenia, Sweden, UK, Portugal, Denmark, Netherlands, Malta, Austria, Finland, Czech Republic, Poland, EU, Ireland and Belgium.

UniEsquina - UniBando - UniTaleban - UniBan

O que vimos na UniBan, a perseguição, as ameaças de estupro, a humilhação, a violência cometida contra uma estudante pelo tamanho do seu vestido - muito mais comportado do que muitos que já vi na PUC ou USP, por exemplo - não é algo típico do Brasil, ou não deveria ser. Mas, no Afeganistão, Arábia Saudita ou na Europa Medieval, seriam lugar-comum.

Basciamente, nos equiparamos ao atraso, ao fanatismo e à intolerância.

Vemos claramente a diferença entre ambientes genuinamente acadêmicos - de tolerância, concordância, de debates e troca de idéias, por mais que hajam seus percalços naturais -e o ambiente de uma empresa que se diz escola.
