Mais fotos dos protestos em Teheranlive."A revista Newsweek afirmou que seu correspondente Maziar Bahari foi detido sem acusação na manhã deste domingo e desde então não recebeu mais informações sobre seu paradeiro. Em comunicado, a publicação disse que sua cobertura do Irã é "justa e diversificada" e pediu a soltura de seu repórter."O Huffington Post tem mais informações sobre a prisão do correspondente da Newsweek:
"A Canadian journalist working in Iran for Newsweek magazine was detained without charge by Iranian authorities Sunday, the magazine said, adding that Maziar Bahari had not been heard from since."Newsweek strongly condemns this unwarranted detention, and calls upon the Iranian government to release him immediately," the New York-based weekly news magazine said in a statement.
It said Bahari, who has been living and covering Iran for the past decade, was "detained without charge by Iranian authorities and has not been heard from since."
"Mr Bahari's coverage of Iran, for Newsweek and other outlets, has always been fair and nuanced, and has given full weight to all sides of the issues. He has worked well with different administrations in Tehran, including the current one," it said."
Um correspondente da BBC no Irã, Jon Leyne, foi expulso do país, informa a Reuters e tem 24h para deixar o país sob a acusação de distorcer informações sobre o Irã, em aprticular as notícias pertinentes à eleição.

Os repórteres estrangeiros foram proibidos de gravar, entrevistar ou noticiar o que ocorre no país e são constantemente vigiados pela polícia e milícia nacional.

Os protestos não dão mostras de ceder e o candidato fraudado, Mousavi, convoca os manifestantes a continuarem a protestar até que surja a verdade
"Protesting against lies and fraud (in the election) is your (Iranians) right," Mousavi said in a statement on his website.
"In your protests continue to show restraint. I am expecting armed forces to avoid irreversible damage," he added."
